Does this make you think of musical notation thingies? You know, the symbols for thingy and whatsit? The squiggles at the start and end of a sheet of music?
You can tell that I can’t read music. I can’t understand why anyone would want to read music, wouldn’t it be better to listen to it?
So you’ve got a treble clef and all those small black beetles bumming lifts up the straight lines. What kind of a life is that?
I’ve never been able to play anything very well (I have two guitars, poor things) but am attracted to percussion, and there is one instrument I would love, I would adore, I would look after and I would (at least try to) play if I had one, but alas they are horrendously expensive and rare. I have such a craving for a hang drum, the drum that sounds – well it sounds like more than a drum. Have a listen to (and a watch-of) Hang Massive on these wonderful instruments which I WANT BADLY!
Can you read music?
And can you play what you read?
And what do you play it on?
(Or if you want to be picky, ‘On what do you play it, pray tell?’)(That’s for the classical dudes out there.)
